Barbara was the best cooking teacher I have ever had. She is also one of the most friendliest and kindest person. She not only gave an excellent cooking lesson but welcomed us into her home and after we finished cooking we ate our lesson with her family. I recommend Barbara very highly as she is one of the best.

Morena speaks English well and was well prepared for the cooking class. When we arrived, there was a 15 minute introduction, and Morena gave us a sheet of paper with the ingredients and measurements for the recipes written down, as well as the steps to preparing the recipe. We soon began the class with the dessert, followed by two different pasta dishes. All of the ingredients used were fresh, nothing canned or frozen, and the sauces were prepared from scratch. Morena had already prepared a station where we would be working, with all of the ingredients ready for us to use. We started cooking at 10am and finished punctually 3 hours later, then we spent the rest of the time enjoying the feast outdoors while having a pleasant conversation with Morena about Italy.

The class was very short interaction was non existent. Each person made 3 pieces of pasta. We then watched for awhile as our chef cut up some remaining pieces.

He used his own sauce which we didn't get to make and overall it was a very disappointing experience. 

The cost of 258 euro for two people was laughable. After the class we went for lunch as we were both still hungry which was also very disappointing.

The class lasted in total less than 2 hours and 30 mins of that was sitting down talking to other guests.

We did not make tiramisu which was listed in the description. 

Our host was friendly and we were welcomed into his family home but the experience was very poor overall when comparing to other cooking classes where you take part in the class. Yesterday we watched a chef make food in his kitchen and then had a light meal.

Cooking Italian pasta and making Tiramisu with Barbara was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. She kindly welcomed us to her beautiful home and made us feel comfortable right away, gave us interesting information about the place and found a great way of introducing us to the Italian cuisine.
