Maria Paola and her husband were wonderful hosts.  We made two different types of pasta and Tiramisu and everything was delicious.  After everything was ready, we all sat together in the dining room and enjoyed a wonderful meal together.  A very special day!

I had a wonderful time with Maria Paola, her husband and of friend of theirs. It was really good to create the pasta and tiramisu, Maria explained and showed everything, I had fun in the process. When everything was ready we had some appetizers, and then tasted the pasta and the tiramisu, while having really good conversation. 
I enjoyed the cooking, and also that I could practice Italian - I used to speak, but years ago, so was rusty, but they had patience and humor for me and we had good talks. 
I can only recommend if you are in Viareggio, really good and authentic experience, where you can speak with locals and also learn about the wonderful Italian cuisine .

The Cesarine host I got connected with was incredible and I will never forget the truly unique and beautiful moment The Network is super helpful and reliable: I had to move my appointment super spontaneously (my boyfriend got sick) from Monday in Agrigent (south of Sicily) to Catania (west of Sicily) on a Sunday; no problem for Cesarine. Cooking Italian pasta and making Tiramisu with Barbara was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. She kindly welcomed us to her beautiful home and made us feel comfortable right away, gave us interesting information about the place and found a great way of introducing us to the Italian cuisine. Not only did we learn to make three delicious meals but Barbara made us feel so welcome, appreciated and cared for. We felt like cooks and guests at the same time. It was a delightful day all around and the highlight of our vacation in Italy! We would come back for this amazing experience - thank you for having us, Barbara!!
