My daughter’s and I took a cooking class with Barbara in October 2023.  It was a wonderful experience.  We made pasta and tiramisu that was absolutely delicious.   Barbara is a master in the kitchen.  She was friendly, hospitable and humorous.  I would definitely recommend this class

Our cooking class with Barbara was the highlight of our time in Venice! It was wonderful! She took us to the market for ingredients, then we stopped for a quick drink before she welcomed us into her home. Her home is lovely! It's a very warm, cozy and inviting space. Barbara gave us a choice in what we cooked. She showed us how to make tortellini by hand. We also made ricotta gnocchi and tiramisu. Then after we prepped all the food, she had set a lovely table and proceeded to serve us a beautiful meal. I would definitely take another class with Barbara again! Highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful and authentic cookery experience with Barbara in her lovely Venetian home. We bought fresh, seasonal ingredients from a fruit and veg market stall on a gondola, then Barbara taught us how to prepare and cook a selection of cicchetti. They were absolutely delicious and were washed down with an equally delicious bottle of Prosecco! Barbara also told us many interesting facts and stories about traditional Venetian and Italian cooking. We will definitely be trying to recreate the delicious dishes at home. Grazie mille!

The Cesarine host I got connected with was incredible and I will never forget the truly unique and beautiful moment The Network is super helpful and reliable: I had to move my appointment super spontaneously (my boyfriend got sick) from Monday in Agrigent (south of Sicily) to Catania (west of Sicily) on a Sunday; no problem for Cesarine. Cooking Italian pasta and making Tiramisu with Barbara was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. She kindly welcomed us to her beautiful home and made us feel comfortable right away, gave us interesting information about the place and found a great way of introducing us to the Italian cuisine. Not only did we learn to make three delicious meals but Barbara made us feel so welcome, appreciated and cared for. We felt like cooks and guests at the same time.
