Cantuccini and Castagnaccio Masterclass
What we'll do
Immerse yourself into the culinary Italian tradition and discover a new side of Florence.
Cooking courses are an enjoyable way to learn new recipe, even more if held by local cooking expert. Learn how to prepare Cantucci and Castagnaccio - one of the most typical regional dishes.
Cantuccini are sweet almond cookies, typically enjoyed with Vin Santo, a sweet wine.
You will also prepare Castagnaccio, a typical dessert prepared with chestnut flour and enriched with raisins, pine nuts, walnuts and rosemary. Your host's kitchen will be filled with the delicious scent of baking, as you experience what life is like for local people in Florence. After your class, you'll enjoy everything you've prepared around the table with a glass of wine.
This experience is perfect for enthusiastic bakers on the lookout for traditional Tuscan recipes to try at home.
