In the magical setting of an ancient oak forest, we invite you to immerse yourself in the flavors of Umbria, within the warmth of an elegant farmhouse. You will begin your gastronomic journey with an authentic taste experience of Umbria, savoring real Umbrian pate, accompanied by traditional home-made torta al testo. The culinary journey will continue with a soup of homemade chickpeas and handmade maltagliati, enveloping you in an embrace of genuine flavors. Finally, we will close this extraordinary tasting with a tart made with fig jam from our own tree and enriched with crunchy walnuts. All these dishes will be carefully paired with two red wines, made from native grape varieties, to make the experience complete and unforgettable.

My cooking is based on the use of mostly home-grown ingredients. It is a typical local cuisine (Umbria) that is influenced by Roman elements (as I was born and raised in Rome) and international touches, as my husband and I love to travel! I particularly enjoy cooking pasta dishes, but I also have fun with one-course meals. I'm happy to cook both meat and fish, I really like dishes based on vegetables, strictly seasonal and locally sourced. Among my specialties are tomatoes with rice, amatriciana, spaghetti with clams, scrambled eggs with our local wild asparagus, eggplant parmigiana, Roman-style artichokes, Genovese roast. Among desserts, I make crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, Caprese cake with almonds from our garden.
