In the warm and welcoming atmosphere of my home's tavern, in front of a traditional open fireplace where we gather on chilly autumn days, you'll savor a festive menu that has been enjoyed by my family for generations. From torta al testo, the typical Umbrian bread enjoyed with cold cuts and cheeses from our region, to Rocciata di Assisi, a local dessert paired with sweet Sagrantino Passito red wine from Montefalco. This is an opportunity to authentically experience what happens in Italian families every Sunday: coming together around a table, sharing conversation and stories about food and related experiences while enjoying dishes with the genuine and distinctive flavors of my homeland.

Lucia was my hostess, and she welcomed me into her home and taught me how to make a lovely, delicious meal, which we then shared. Cooking has always been my comfort zone. From my mother and grandmothers, I learned the art of game roasts and homemade pasta, which I love rolling out with a rolling pin, so I don't have to go to the gym! I am constantly inspired by the produce from my garden and enjoy mixing different recipes, creating dishes that blend tradition and modernity, such as hemp torta al testo or cabbage pancakes! I love discovering local producers and their innovations: Norcia's black garlic is my latest find, and I use it in various preparations, from savory to sweet!
