Dining experience: take a seat and enjoy an authentic Italian meal with a local Cesarina
Your menu
The experience I want to propose is based on the encounter between good Umbrian cuisine and an inspirational literary character. The first menu is dedicated to Virginia Woolf, the great English writer. It will provide, therefore, a reinterpretation of some English dishes from an Italian perspective: Mediterranean-style pudding, chicken pie and garden vegetables, and bitter orange tart. The table will be set in the living room of the farmhouse where I live, among the rolling Umbrian hills with a beautiful view of Lake Trasimeno; if the weather permits, we may dine in the garden.
Cooking, after all, is a bit like writing: it should be done with care and love. I am waiting for you to share together a different experience made of literature and good food.

- Elisabetta was fantastic, the pasta and tiramisu delicious and the whole evening terrific! Not so good was the information from Cesarine, the address of the meeting point was correct, but not the point in Google maps, that was send in the information email! The given help number was not available, only a recorded message. Fortunately Elisabetta was very generous and worked long after the appointed time!

Elisabetta: "Cooking is for me an act of love, a great passion that goes hand in hand with that for writing. I am Roman by birth and Umbrian by adoption. I have chosen to go back to my roots, my family is originally from these places where I spent the most beautiful summers of my childhood and adolescence".
