A path to taste the real peasant cuisine, a dining experience set in my house in the countryside. Fresh and seasonable ingredients come from my garden. The starting appetizer will be consisting of vegetables cultivated by me. As first side, broad beans and chicory, typical peasant dish from Salento. The dessert will be my homemade jam tart.
- We had the most wonderful time cooking with Franchesca and her family! We were welcomed at their lovely villa outside of Lecce, where we got a tour of the garden before cooking some local dishes. We made pasta and had some wonderful wine, and even picked wild chicory for our dish. It was like cooking and eating with old friends. We will remember their warmth and hospitality for years to come... and of course the delicious food! A wonderful and unique experience.

A few steps from Lecce, our Cesarina Francesca welcomes us in her beautiful country house, surrounded by a large garden. "The passion for food has always been in my family's veins, but the one who really transmitted the love for simple cooking to me was my grandmother Marianna, a farmer, who took me to the fields with her to collect herbs and fruit and, in front of the fireplace, she taught me that with a little you can get exceptional dishes. I strongly wanted to move to the countryside, to have a direct relationship with nature: here I cultivate a strictly organic garden and I love to receive friends and relatives.
