In mid-December in my home, typical Christmas sweets are prepared. It is customary to invite family members for help and to make together the sweets that will be on the table for the Christmas season. It becomes a magical moment of welcome, familiarity, mutual help, storytelling, memories....si makes family. The house becomes a forge where everyone is a protagonist and indispensable. One begins to note down how many dishes of one and the other dessert need to be produced for everyone....don't imagine the quantities, then moves on to the assignment of tasks and.... off to work. The house begins to become intoxicated with the scents of spices, fried food, honey and....love.The desserts: Purccìd, almond milk, drem di vìcchie, pettole al cotto di uva.It ends with: see you at Christmas!

We will live together a unique experience in our small country Masseria immersed in the characteristic landscape of Apulia, with an expanse of olive trees leading to the sea and a view from above of the entire landscape below.Together we will return to the past discovering the traditions and preparing together the famous orecchiette. Each of you will have everything you need to follow a lesson given by Maria, our Cesarina. This will be followed by the preparation of orecchiette with tomato sauce, goat cacioricotta cheese and fresh basil that we will collect from our garden.

Cooking class with 3 recipes (appetizer, first course of fresh pasta and dessert) followed by a 3-course menu with the dishes prepared during the course For us Pugliesi of the sea, you can not start a meal without tasting the seafood, fresh and strictly raw. As an alternative, I propose a delicious cooked seafood salad accompanied by fresh vegetables from my garden. We will prepare with our guests spaghettoni of semolina/gluten-free that we will dress with the typical sauce with mussels and cherry tomatoes. We will close the meal with the typical almond cakes accompanied by a good glass of sweet wine produced by me.

We will start by preparing the appetizer with a selection of the fish of the day, but not before having collected the vegetables in the garden. Then we will prepare this traditional dish, following an ancient family recipe jealously handed down. The cooking will take place in earthenware containers in the ancient stone oven, wood-fired, of the farm. To finish the traditional almond cakes, accompanied by a glass of sweet wine of my own production.
