Hi from Roberta!

"I grew up in a house where every Sunday, party or anniversary was an opportunity to reunite family and friends. The passion for cooking was transmitted to me by my mother and then by my mother-in-law, a native of Riomaggiore,  who guided me in the preparation of pies of our tradition. Last, but only in order of time, my master Enzo, the baker who was the arm and mind of the bakery that I managed for 15 years, to which I 'stole' everything you should know about bread, focaccia..."

Taking a cooking class at Roberta’s beatitude home was truly a highlight of my trip in Europe. She is a great host - very welcoming and friendly! We learned how to make two different types of pasta and tiramisu. The tiramisu was definitely my favorite! I’ve never tasted such an amazing tiramisu in my life!!!

My husband and I were hosted by Roberta and her husband Ricardo in their beautiful home. Their lovely Gordon setter Kate also said hi. We learned a lot from the demonstration at the beginning then settled into an amazing meal of several courses and accompaniments, all made lovingly by Roberta, and all locally sourced ingredients. We had local wines also, and digestives, also made by her. Her lasagne was very special. All recipes were available afterwards. We highly recommend this very personal experience. Thanks Roberta and Ricardo.
