Sommariva del Bosco (CN) - Piemonte

Hills and vineyards that alternate between castles and historic villages, this is the landscape of the Langhe. We are in Sommariva del Bosco, in the area that lies between Cuneo and Asti. It’s an ancient village that is laid out like an amphitheater around the castle. The historical town center, with its characteristic narrow streets, dates back to medieval times.

It is here, in this land rich in tradition, typical products, prestigious wines and white truffles (unique for both flavor and aroma) that Cesarino Roberto was born and raised. His passion for cooking started as a child when he would play behind the stove with his mother, originally from Puglia, who prepared excellent dishes at all hours. "I have carried a passion for cooking ever since then and have always loved preparing lunches and dinners for family occasions and for friends."

Roberto generally prepares traditional country dishes. During the summer, he likes to prepare lighter, more refreshing dishes, made with what he grows in his own vegetable garden.
