"My passion for cooking was born as a child, as I used to spend my days at my grandmother’s house and she involved me in the work of cooking by teaching me how to make homemade pasta and desserts. Growing up I deepened the kitchen with my mom, a great cook. Now these two people are gone and for me cooking their dishes is a tribute to them and to the territory that I always carry in my heart. My table is characterized by local and seasonal products, following traditional recipes. The dishes of Salento come from a poor and peasant cuisine composed of vegetables, legumes and homemade products, as is the custom in the families of Lecce."
