Patrizia D.

Venezia (VE) - Veneto

Patrizia lives in a beautiful and timeless place. An enchanted city, which attracts millions of tourists every year and is known for its beauty all over the world. Above all, it is a land filled with art and culture, even from a gastronomic point of view.

Of course, we're talking about Venice, the city of a thousand canals. Our Cesarina welcomes us to the area of Saint Zaccaria, near the church of the same name, a magnificent renaissance building dating back to the 15th century. The main tourist attractions (piazza San Marco, la Basilica, il ponte dei Sospiri) are just a few hundred meters away and Patrizia’s home is also a great starting point for exploring vicoli del Castello, a less well known - but equally fascinating - area of Venice.
Venice and its flavours

From fish to meat, a culinary experience dedicated to Venetian tradition

Our Cesarina begins this culinary Experience through the Serenissima’s canals with a great classic of the Venetian tradition: sardines in saor, which means served with sweet and sour caramellised onions. A refined marriage of flavors, ideal for beginning this culinary Experience in the best of ways.

We continue with delicious 'gnocchi allo scoglio', which means the delicious stuffed potato pasta is served with crustaceans: clams, mussels, squid and prawns. A real triumph of flavours, to be savoured from the first to last bite. As a second dish, Patrizia offers us another great classic of the Laguna: venetian liver with fried polenta. Alternatively, she can also serve a delicious veal scaloppine or a pizzaiola, a dish made of meat and tomato sauce. As a sidedish, delicious grilled vegetables.

We end on a fresh note, as our Cesarina serves us a delicious creamy mascarpone dessert.
