The perfect Taste Experience to discover Milan's iconic dishes

This journey through the flavours of Milan’s cuisine is full of humble and traditional dishes that are bursting with flavour. Simonetta explains that it is an homage to the ‘cucina povera’ which is simple and genuine.
We begin with a delicious veal liver pâté with crostini, an ancient dish that has become a classic of the region’s cuisine. She follows with another regional favourite, ‘risotto giallo alla milanese’, which owes its bright yellow flavour to saffron. She also offers a flavoursome pumpkin risotto as an alternative.
For the second course, Sissi serves ‘mondeghili’ meatballs in salsa verde. This typical milanase dish is served with a parsley, garlic and anchovy sauce that works perfectly with the meat. This is served with a side of sautéed fennel.
To finish on a sweet note, our Cesarina serves mascarpone cream with biscottini, or during the Christmas period, a panettone.
