The town of Forio is considered by many to be Ischia’s cultural center. It’s a place where you can spend your days lounging on the beach, enjoying the crystal clear sea, or relaxing in one of the island's largest thermal parks. Moreover, there are places of historical and archaeological interest: churches and historical town centers, teeming in ancient traditions and festivals that are deeply rooted in the past, as is the case with Maria Antonietta’s cooking. Our Cesarina focuses on preparing traditional dishes, typical of those enjoyed by Ischian families on Sundays and other special occasions.

From a tourism perspective, Maria Antonietta’s home is truly characteristic. It’s painted white with brilliant blue doors and is located quite close to Chiaia beach. Marie Antoinette’s table is always colorful and vibrant, the atmosphere lively. Her cooking has two souls, one of land and the other sea. A respect for quality and the seasonality of the main ingredients make all the difference.
