Attraverso ricette antiche e al contempo sempre moderne e attuali, faremo una degustazione di questo alimento , a volte bistrattato, ma che si presta a mille diverse preparazioni.
Polenta morbida bianca con moscardini, gialla di consistenza più sostenuta da abbrustolire e accompagnare con salumi e formaggi, un tortino di polenta dal cuore morbido, il tutto annaffiato da buon vino e allegria..... e per finire non potrà mancare un dolcetto, sempre a base di polenta come gli Zaletti di Verona o la Sbrisolona , ottima con la grappa o il caffè

- Michela was very welcoming and skillful with us and our 2 teenagers. She made the whole experience immersive and taught us about Italian culture and foods. We had a memorable experience and enjoyed the setting in someone's kitchen. Really lovely.
- We took three classes with Michela – two in Verona in 2019 and another online during lockdown after we had returned home to Canada. The first class was a request to learn appetizers including caponata, pesto, a rolled eggplant and a rather marvelous almond cookie (torta sbrisolona). The second included polenta, gnocchi and zaletti. For the online class we learned how to make arancini. All three classes were highly enjoyable. Her instructions were clear both in person and online and the food was delicious. A number of the dishes have become both every day and entertainment staples. We’re looking forward to our next trip to Verona and another cooking class with Michela.

Il suo appartamento è a pochi passi da Piazza Brà, il salotto di Verona. Le colline con i suoi vigneti, il lago di Garda con gli ulivi secolari e i monti Lessini fanno da contorno ai monumenti di una città dagli scorci magici. La sua passione per la cucina è un retaggio di famiglia. Nonna Laura e mamma Bibi coinvolgevano nipoti e figli nella preparazione di pasta fresca lunga e corta, lasagne, tortellini e tortelli, secondi di carne con contorni e dolci. "In cucina cerco di trasmettere il valore della semplicità, ma nel contempo sono sempre pronta a sperimentare nuovi piatti, utilizzando principalmente i prodotti tipici del territorio veronese."
