„Ich bin begeistert von der Küche aus Brindisi. Schon als Kind habe ich meinen Großmüttern bei der Zubereitung des Sonntagsessens geholfen, zu dem die ganze Familie zusammenkam. Mit den typischen Produkten der Region lassen sich zu jeder Jahreszeit traditionelle Menüs zusammenstellen. Ich liebe es, Gäste zu bewirten und zu teilen, und der Außenbereich meines Hauses ist dafür perfekt geeignet.“

A really great cooking class and experience. We made zucchini alla poverella, strascinate and tiramisu. I had a wonderful evening.

Mimma and Chiro are great. Like visiting old friends. But they will show you how cheese is made and will teach you how to make your own pasta and tiramisu. They are locals, so they will also advise where to go and where to eat well. We had a great time.

My friend and I came to Italy wanting to take a cooking class and the one we found with Mimma and her husband Ciro was perfect. We were fortunate enough to be the only two participants the night we went, and since the class is in their home, we felt like welcome guests at a dinner party. Mimma is an excellent and patient instructor, and her husband played the roll of sous chef masterfully. The weather cooperated and we were able to dine outside in their garden and it was not only a wonderful visit, the food we all made together was delicious. Thank you, Mimma and Ciro. You made us feel like cherished guests in your home, and also taught us wonderful traditional methods for cooking an amazing Italian feast. Grazie mille!

My friends and I spent the day with Mimma and Chiro, exploring the wonderful food culture of Brindisi and Puglia. Starting by visiting Caseificio Giada where we watched mozzarella and burrata being made and tasted freshly prepared cheese; then onto the fresh produce market to source the necessary ingredients for our meal; and then back to Mimma’s to prepare fresh pasta, tiramisu and various other delicacies for our lunch. Fabulous experience and Mimma’s hospitality was awesome. Loved it!

​ You ​ We had a wonderful experience. Mimma was knowledgeable and friendly. We visited a cheesemaker and a produce market. Both were very interesting. Then we returned to her home to make pasta and tiramisu. We had a lovely lunch in her garden. Both Mimma and her husband are wonderful people.
