« J'adore cuisiner parce que cela me détend et m'éloigne du stress de la vie quotidienne. J'aime beaucoup les desserts et les décorations et je m'initie sans cesse à la préparation des entrées, des plats principaux et des accompagnements. J'adore le régime méditerranéen, je préfère le poisson, mais j'aime varier. J'adore recevoir mes amis et ma famille à la maison, même si mon travail m'occupe beaucoup, car la table rassemble... Ma famille apprécie beaucoup et demande toujours de nouvelles recettes à mettre sur la table ».

- Maria was the absolute best host my friends and I could have asked for. She was so inclusive and welcoming. She truly made it feel like we were right at home. She gave us options about what we wanted to make. She made sure we were all comfortable and happy. Maria was also hysterical, I spent half the night laughing. Making pasta is not always easy but Maria made sure to help when it was needed and never moved too fast. Maria, was full of life and made this experience unforgettable. This was hands down my favorite activity during my 2 week trip to Europe! If I ever come back to Syracuse, I will make sure to take another one of Maria's classes!
- Our traditional cooking class was a wonderful experience. Maria Rita presented the class in a fun and educational way capturing the taste of true Sicilian cuisine. The experience felt like eating a meal prepared with love between friends. Maria Rita was generous it what was offered as well as opening her home up to make this a truly authentic experience. I highly recommend this class.
