Wie überall in der Emilia ist das Kochen Kult. In jedem Haus gibt es zu Festen und Feiertagen Cappelletti in Brühe, grüne oder gelbe Tortelli mit Kürbis, die nach alten Familienrezepten zubereitet werden. Die lokalen Gerichte stammen sowohl aus Reggio Emilia als auch aus Modena: Maria Cristina interpretiert diese Verschmelzung zweier kulinarischer Traditionen, indem sie einige der typischsten lokalen Rezepte neu interpretiert.

- Siamo stati accolti da Maria Cristina ed Antonio che ci hanno fatto passare uno splendido pranzo domenicale. I piatti della tradizione non hanno tradito le aspettative. Atmosfera, cibo e compagnia ottimi, il tempo è volato!! Siamo stati molto contenti della scelta, super consigliati!!!
- What a wonderful evening. Christina and her husband were wonderful host and the food was perfect. They invited a friend that was interested in travel, loved to eat and spoke excellent English to join us. Christina's english was good too. I helped Christina roll the pasta and she did the cooking. I was able to relax and enjoy the evening. Her sweet mother came to meet me and I also met her young grandson. It was a wonderful way to experience real Italian family life. I was staying in the city of Reggio Emilia so I took a train to a nearby station and she picked me up. She and her husband drove me back to my apartment in the city afterwards. That was a great help because they did not feel I should walk alone late a night from the station in Reggio Emilia. I 100% recommend this dinner.
- We had a wonderful time with Cristina . We prepared a delicious meal from start to finish that we then enjoyed together. Her and her husband welcomed us with the utmost hospitality. This is a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend.
- We had the pleasure of cooking with Maria Cristina during our trip in 2019. We had an absolutely wonderful experience making pasta with her and learned many things about Italian cuisine and their culture as well. We would definitely recommend her and would most certainly do it again. We have such fond memories of that day. We had lost her contact information and are so happy we recently stumbled upon it so we could post this review. Thanks so much for a great evening.
- Great experience in an informal setting, sitting down to eat our creation with the family after the lesson. My wife and I didn’t leave until nearly 9:00.
