Bonjour de la part de Michela !

Michela est originaire de Vérone, où elle a toujours vécu, ville d'art et d'amour. Son appartement se trouve à quelques pas de la Piazza Brà, le salon de Vérone. Les collines avec leurs vignobles, le lac de Garde avec ses oliviers centenaires et les monts Lessini entourent les monuments d'une ville aux paysages magiques. Sa passion pour la cuisine est un héritage familial. Sa grand-mère Laura et sa mère Bibi impliquaient leurs petits-enfants et leurs enfants dans la préparation de pâtes fraîches longues et courtes, de lasagnes, de tortellini et de tortelli, de plats de viande accompagnés de garnitures et de desserts. « En cuisine, j'essaie de transmettre la valeur de la simplicité, mais en même temps, je suis toujours prête à expérimenter de nouveaux plats, en utilisant principalement les produits typiques de la région de Vérone. »

Michela was so welcoming - we started as strangers but ended as family. We started the evening with a small appetizer and prosecco. We got to know each other and she gave an overview of the class. She gave us options and customized the teaching to our preference. She was patient with us and taught us multiple techniques for making pasta. Americans typically prefer the pasta making course and I can see why. It really connects you with Verona. It’s also unlike the experiences we have in the states. Michela was so generous and thoughtful in her teaching style and even gave us some leftover cookies for our early breakfast. We absolutely recommend her and will be back to Verona to take another course!

We had an amazing cooking experience with Michela. She was very knowledgeable and taught us how to pay attention to the little details that make the difference between good and great deserts. We had fantastic time and whole heartedly recommend a class with Michela.

Hands down one of our favorite experiences in Northern Italy! Michela was a wonderful guide as we walked the streets of Verona, stopping for a sweet treat at a historic pastry shop and learning about Verona as we strolled and talked. We picked up fresh bread for lunch at a historic bakery, then headed back to Michela's house where we enjoyed a snack before we learned how to prepare delicious gnocchi! Our family had a great time as we all sat down for lunch, enjoying the gnocchi with 3 simple sauces. Michela also had prepared a traditional Srbisolona which she served for dessert. Highly recommend this experience. We are working on perfecting our gnocchi in our own kitchen!
