Hi from Paola!

Cooking is my passion and I prefer cooking savory dishes: appetizers, first and second courses. I relax by making fresh pasta: tagliatelle, pappardelle, tortelli stuffed with lean meat or with guinea fowl or duck, tortellini, the Cremonese ones we call “marubini” to be cooked in broth that I very often make with beef and the chickens from my chicken coop.I prefer to cook meat rather than fish and I indulge myself with appetizers of various kinds, preferably using vegetables from my garden and eggs from my chickens, as well as cured meats and cheeses from my area. My children love my fresh fruit tarts or jam tarts that I prepare in the summer and, sometimes, they "force" me to make tiramisu and "Bussano" with my grandmother's recipe.I mostly spend my free time in the kitchen because it is one of the activities that relaxes me the most and gives me real satisfaction.
