L'Aquila is a city that must be discovered, must be traveled on foot, walking up and down right through the historic center, made of a maze of alleys, steep streets and beautiful views, and then stop to enjoy the traditional cuisine from our Cesarino Pasquale. The cuisine of Abruzzo offers a wide range of aromas and flavors, is an area of great agricultural and cultural tradition, kingdom of chili and saffron.

I had a very enjoyable experience at the home of Pasquale Marziani and his wife Anna. The food was delicious, and I was exposed to food traditions of the Abruzzo region. It was an unforgettable experience and a wonderful way to spend my last night in L'Aquila. I appreciated the warm hospitality shown by Pasquale and Anna. Fun to cut spaghetti on the chitarra!

Pasquale & his wife Hanna were so welcoming and wonderful. They cooked with ingredients native to Abruzzo and used family recipes that were delicious (and they even gave me leftovers for the next night)! It was great to learn about their family and find out what we had in common. I'd recommend booking with them over and over again.
