My name is Simonetta, and my DNA is 100% Sardinian. After studying in Milan and spending many years working in the family businesses, I chose to return to my roots. Traveling made me realize that visitors want to experience the soul of a place: in Sardinia, it’s not just about the sea, but also shepherding, peasant cuisine, history, and authenticity. From this awareness, my project was born: to bring Battista, my grandparents’ village—a settlement of stazzi and almond trees with two centuries of history—back to life. Here, in my great-grandparents’ house, Arimani comes to life: a place of hospitality where we share traditions, memories, and the true flavors of Sardinia.
