« Je suis née et j'ai grandi dans cette magnifique région qu'est le Salento. J'ai décidé de donner forme à ma passion innée pour la cuisine, source de sociabilité et de partage avec mes proches, tels que mes amis et ma famille. Cuisiner me détend, me distrait, me permet d'expérimenter et de rechercher de nouvelles recettes et de nouvelles saveurs, ainsi que d'exprimer ma créativité et de donner de la consistance au goût. J'accueillerai les hôtes chez moi, pour leur transmettre les secrets de nos plats en partageant le plaisir de cuisiner ensemble. »

We had an amazing cooking workshop with Daniela! She created such a warm and fun atmosphere, and we loved every minute of it. The dishes we made were delicious, authentic, and surprisingly easy to follow thanks to her clear instructions and passion for Italian cuisine. We also enjoyed learning more about local ingredients and traditions, which made the evening feel truly special. Highly recommended — it was a wonderful experience and we’d definitely do it again! 🇮🇹✨

Well, I had never done such a course before and as my Italian is practically nonexistent I must say I was a little apprehensive… I had no need to be. This was a most delightful experience….. so let me tell you. I show up at the appointment time to warm greetings from Daniela’s son. He brought me into meet a gracious and enthusiastic Daniela. We chatted over coffee to get to know each other a bit and then it was down to work on a four course Mother’s Day lunch. This was the best surprise for me…. I thought that I had come just to learn to cook octopus. On the menu was a fish pasta primo followed by the most tender octopus and potato purée secondo..Dulce was a delicious strawberry limoncello salad and to top it off some homemade granita… But that’s not the best part… as we were finishing the meal preparation who arrives but Nonna. Followed by Daniela’s sister. So I got to sit down to the most welcoming Mother’s Day Sunday lunch with a room full of the kindest and most generous people I believe I’ve ever met. A memory of a lifetime. And I now know how to cook octopus:) Thank you so much Paul
