Con questo evento, intendo valorizzare i produttori locali e promuovere i prodotti d'eccellenza della mia regione, con particolare attenzione allo zafferano di Como e ai formaggi di capra provenienti da allevamenti biologici. Dopo una breve visita guidata per scoprire le tecniche di produzione e lavorazione, sarai ospitato nella mia casa per la preparazione e la degustazione di piatti creati con questi straordinari ingredienti. Insieme, creeremo anche un dolce al cucchiaio tipico del Lago di Como, utilizzando ingredienti freschi e deliziosi.

Cristina really went above and beyond for all her guests. She was a generous host and a wonderful teacher! We could not have enjoyed ourselves more and we can't wait to try recreating her recipes at home. Thank you SO much! I will suggest that you be sure to make arrangements before hand to get to her place. The taxi service in Lake Como was difficult and if we'd planned ahead it may have been easier.

My 21 and 23 year old sons and me had a wonderful time learning to make tagliatelle, ravioli and tiramisu with Cristina. It was such a treat to be in her warm and well organized kitchen in her home and to learn about her local farms and specialties. She was very informative and we all had fun participating in the cooking. Then we enjoyed our creations at a lovely table in her garden with her beautiful family. It was such a special day for us, a real highlight of our 10 days in Italy. Cristina is warm and welcoming and I highly recommend her class to anyone wanting an authentic and special cooking experience.

Christine was so accommodating ! We thought this class was center of Como and we found out it was 25 min away! She waited for us as the others in the Laura and Edgar waited for us - it was a nice place on the outskirts of Como in the country side. The house was warm and comfortable atmosphere and the kitchen welcoming. We make a tagliatelle noodle and raviolis and the tiramisu. She gave is very good insight to each dish and the ingredients were fresh and wonderful. The food turned out wonderful and was so very good ! The company was exceptional and we hope that she will come to California so we can have a cooking class here !!!

This cooking class with Cristina was unbelievable. It was at her home which was beautiful with an amazing view of the mountain around Como. The meats and cheese and figs(from her garden) were so tasty. The class itself taught us how to make Focaccia bread, Tagliatelle, and a homemade Italian dessert. Her Italian and English was perfect. It was so easy to understand what she was asking us to do and she taught us how to do everything so we could do it at home. She made it so easy. We got to eat what we made in her courtyard served with delicious wine looking at the mountains of Como. Would highly recommended her and this class to anyone that wants an authentic Italian experience. Well worth the money, she should charge more! She made us feel like we were eating with family in her house. Can’t wait to come back and visit again!

We had a truly wonderful evening learning to cook pasta with Cristina. My two daughters and I loved the relaxed setting and fun atmosphere. Cristina and her family welcomed us warmly into their home and went the extra mile to make our experience memorable. Would definitely recommend Cristina’s class to anyone interested in authentic Italian cooking.

"La mia passione per la cucina nasce fin da quando da bambina mi piaceva osservare mia mamma che impastava con tanta cura la pasta frolla e mio papà che aveva una predilezione particolare per la pasta fatta in casa. Ricordo le cene con gli amici il sabato sera o i pranzi famigliari della domenica, dove le tagliatelle o le lasagne con la pasta fatta in casa erano un "must" e, per concludere, non poteva mancare una squisita crostata con la marmellata. In famiglia avevamo la mitica zia Cristina che faceva la cuoca in una ricca famiglia milanese. Il suo ricettario, manoscritto con una grafia che appartiene al passato, racchiude tanti piccoli segreti che annotava diligentemente e che oggi sono un patrimonio prezioso dove attingere tantissimi spunti e suggerimenti. La mia cucina è legata alle tradizioni, ma mi piace molto diversificare e dare un tocco particolare ai vari piatti delle specialità comasche e lombarde, utilizzando rigorosamente i prodotti locali, biologici e a km 0".
