Mi chiamo Marilena e sono un’artista del recupero: ridò nuova vita a materiali e oggetti dimenticati, trasformandoli in creazioni uniche. Questa stessa passione si riflette in cucina, dove esalto la tradizione con ingredienti genuini e di stagione.Vivo e lavoro nel cuore di Monopoli, in un ex monastero ottocentesco immerso nella storia, con vista sulla Valle d’Itria e sul mare. Qui accolgo con gioia chi desidera scoprire i sapori autentici del nostro territorio, attraverso piatti di verdure di stagione, pasta fresca fatta in casa e specialità di mare o di terra, sempre con prodotti freschi e locali.Sogno di condividere la mia tavola con persone da tutto il mondo, raccontando la nostra cultura attraverso il cibo. Amo accogliere i miei ospiti in un luogo speciale, offrendo esperienze culinarie autentiche e indimenticabili.

- Marilena welcomed us to her home with warmth and infectious smile. The antipasto she served was so good. She was patient and guided us thoroughly with making the pasta. Her homemade sauce along with the pasta we made together was chefs kiss. The dessert was amazing. I highly recommend this class and would do it all over again.
- Marilena was a great host. She made us feel comfortable and welcome in her home. She lives in a really cool area in Monopoli with a view of all the action from her apartment above. We had a family of four (kids 15 and 12) and made, bruschetta, pasta and tiramisu. She had appetizers and wine (and drinks for kids) ready for us when we arrived. It was an authentic, fun experience and Marilena was warm and kind. A definite must do!
- If we could give 10 stars we would! Marilena was a fantastic host and we highly recommend experiencing her talent in her beautiful and welcoming home. Everything that Marilena cooked was absolutely delicious. We were 2 couples and all thoroughly enjoyed Marilena’s humour, hospitality and her teaching style. We had very tasty things to eat before the class, the great pasta dish that we made and finished with the best tiramisu I have ever tasted. There was plenty of vino (and us Australians love our wine!) and Limoncello to finish. Do not miss this experience, it was one of the highlights of our holiday!
