Im Herzen der Hügel der Abruzzen, zwischen Meer und Bergen, beginnt im November die Olivenernte und die erste Pressung des nativen Olivenöls extra. In dieser besonderen Zeit machen die Hausfrauen die traditionellen „Rivotiche“, ein einfaches und leckeres Rezept aus Wasser, Mehl und neuem Öl. Der Teig brutzelt in der Pfanne und verbreitet einen authentischen Duft. Sobald sie fertig sind, werden die Rivotiche mit typischen lokalen Wurstwaren gefüllt und warm serviert, aufgerollt und mit einem Glas Montepulciano d'Abruzzo begleitet. Ein Geschmackserlebnis, das die Seele der abruzzesischen Küche widerspiegelt.

The experience at Stefania's was amazing! We had a lot of fun while cooking and talking and enjoyed the awesome hospitality of Stefania and her husband. The food was absolutely great and the organisation perfect. We loved to be in their elegant house, in their spacious kitchen, which combines modernity and tradition and we learned so many interesting facts about their history, culture, traditions. We highly admire both of them and we are honored to have been for a while with them. 5 stars from all points of view. A big hug from us all. 😀

Absolutely fabulous evening with Stefania! She was very welcoming. Food was exceptional and we learned how to make pasta! She even got my husband excited about cooking. We (mother & daughter) were looking for a real Italian cooking class and Stefania was the most amazing host and chef! She knows everything about cooking and she shares all her knowledge with you. Her English is good, and a translating app helps for the more difficult words. Even before we arrived she contacted us for our wishes and made sure everything was beautifully prepared. We enjoyed our own cooking in the garden, and her husband Marcello joined us. We had such nice conversations about everything and we felt so welcome in their home.
