Bologna, September 17, 2024 – Cesarine, the historic network of home cooks dedicated to promoting Italian cuisine, will be a key participant at the upcoming edition of the Tiramisù World Cup, which will take place in Treviso from October 10 to 13, 2024. The event, dedicated to the iconic Italian dessert, will feature four Cesarine and Cesarini from all over Italy, ready to bring their unique touch to the Original Tiramisù category and their creativity to the Creative Tiramisù category.
Last week, official pre-selections for the Tiramisù World Cup took place at the Cesarine headquarters in Bologna. A total of 20 Cesarine from all over the peninsula competed with savoiardi and mascarpone, aiming to secure a place among the 240 participants in the final in Treviso. The most appreciated tiramisù, which will represent the cesarine.com community at the world competition, were chosen by a popular jury composed of enthusiasts selected from the followers of Cesarine's social profiles, in a contest centered, of course, on the theme of tiramisù. The convivial atmosphere and the quality of the preparations made the selection process both enjoyable and fun, confirming the talent of the Cesarine network in preserving and interpreting traditional recipes. Now, the participation of the community in the Tiramisù World Cup is – literally – in the hands of Cesarine Patrizia from Rimini, Mara from Forlì, Catia from Parma, and Lina from Porto Mantovano. We are confident that the selected Cesarine will honor Italian home cooking, contributing with passion, expertise, and joy to the competition.
