    An authentic experience in my family home in Lipari, where the cuisine tells the story of the Aeolian Islands through simple, seasonal flavours.

    I will welcome my guests with an aperitif and, during the evening, I will share recipes that I have always prepared for my family, such as busiate pasta with wild fennel pesto, a symbol of Sicilian tradition.

    The menu continues with seafood dishes linked to the local area, such as spaghetti with trap-caught prawns and the catch of the day prepared according to Aeolian tradition, using fresh, local ingredients.

    Dinner concludes with a lemon dessert, which encapsulates all the freshness and aromas of the island.

    Weather permitting, the experience can also take place outdoors, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Aeolian Islands.

    My name is Sarah and I live all year round in Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands, where the sea and nature teach the value of authenticity every day. Born in Sydney to a Liparian father and an Irish mother, I bring a blend of cultures into my cooking, where Mediterranean simplicity meets curiosity and openness to the world. Together with my husband, I founded a tourism project dedicated to welcoming guests and promoting the Aeolian Islands. After studying Languages, I chose to dedicate myself to tourism and local heritage, also collaborating with organizations such as Slow Food. I love foraging for wild herbs and preparing traditional Aeolian recipes, as well as homemade preserves and jams. For me, cooking is an act of love: through my dishes I tell the story of the island, its aromas, and its convivial spirit. Joining the Cesarine family means sharing all of this, inviting guests to discover the true soul of the Aeolian Islands, one dish at a time.
