In our home, we predominantly favor high-quality regional products. We never exclude foods like meat and cold cuts, but if requested, we are prepared to adapt the menu for those who prefer a vegetarian option. What we consider important is respecting the seasonality of the products. Our culinary proposal, following a tour of Valogno, the village of murals, includes: an aperitif with Italian sparkling wine and samples of local products, including marzolino cheese flavored with burnet (a wild herb from the surrounding woods). Then, we serve sartù rice with eggplant and buffalo ricotta basil, accompanied by rolled meat with a caponata of sweet-and-sour vegetables. To end on a sweet note, hazelnut cake and Pruja bitter liqueur.
