My passion for cooking comes from sourcing ingredients at local markets, with careful attention to every step, from shopping to preparing the dish. For me, eating is a ritual that brings people together, creating moments of connection and family, all to be cherished with carefully chosen food and wine. I was born in Mantua, a city influenced by both Emilia-Romagna and Veneto cuisine, and I love traditional dishes like risotto alla mantovana with ribs, maccheroncini allo stracotto, and tortelli di zucca. My Umbrian and Apulian roots, along with the memories of my grandparents, have also made me appreciate the cuisine of these regions. I often create thematic menus that reflect local culinary traditions, mixing Mantuan, Umbrian, and Apulian dishes. I am involved in several local volunteer organizations, where I also contribute in the kitchen, participating in festivals and community events.
