Hi from Marilena!
I have always loved cooking and trying my hand at any dish, but I would like to introduce the typical dishes of my town, Teglio. They are popular traditional dishes: pizzoccheri, sciatt, polenta taragna, rye bread, sweet donuts and much more.

- The cooking class with Marilena was as good as I had hoped it would be. Through her English-speaking interpreter, she explained in detail how to make pizzoccheri and sciatt, from how the ingredients were grown and made, to mixing the right proportions of ingredients together, how to cook them correctly, to sitting at her dining table and enjoying the food made during the class. Marilena created a friendly atmosphere in her home and made the three of us feel welcomed. It was a most enjoyable experience and from her lifetime experience of cooking pizzoccheri and sciatt I left her class knowing the fine points of making those meals delicious.
- Wonderful day learning to make the dishes our nonno used to cook us in Australia. Marlena was an excellent host and 6 of us all agree it was one of our best days in Northern Italy. Highly recommend
- Abbiamo passato tre ore bellissime in compagnia di Marilena e sua figlia . Marilena ci ha insegnato a fare i Pizzoccheri e gli Sciatt, due piatti che adoro e ora grazie alla lezione ricevuta con grande capacità da Marilena posso mangiarli a casa mia tutte le volte che voglio. Tutto è risultato buonissimo, una esperienza perfetta perchè Marilena non risparmia nessun segreto dei suoi piatti, ti fa vedere e ti spiega precisamente tutti i passaggi per realizzare il piatto perfetto. La sua casa ha una vista bellissima sulla valle, raccomando a chi viene in Valtellina di passare da lei.
