: Carmelo was such a WONDERFUL host and such a pleasure to be around. From the moment he greeted us, he made us feel welcomed. He walked us to the market to by the freshest ingredients and welcomed us into his home. He made the cooking experience fun and not at all daunting. He kept us at ease with wonderful interactions and a joyful experience. I cannot say enough good things about him, his skillset as a cook, and his hospitality. We would highly recommend him to others.
: It would be difficult to find a person as nice as Carmelo. We learned so much and we enjoyed our afternoon so very much. He is kind and patient and a great person.
: We really enjoyed the food walking tour with Carmelo. He was really friendly and informative and took us to some great, traditional eating places in Rome.
: This was our favorite activity during our trip to Rome! Everyone should book it! Carmelo was so great! He shared his family's olive oil and Lemoncello. He was a great teacher and got us all involved in the process...even my niece got in on the action. I feel like we could actually go home and make pasta- and certainly could make tiramisu. He welcomed us into his home and made everyone comfortable, and he had great suggestions for the rest of our time in Rome too! It was way too much food!! but so delicious, we couldn't stop eating. I would definitely recommend.
: Carmelo was an excellent cooking instructor and delightful to get to know. He included personal elements into the class - family recipes, traditions - and planned the timing very well. Everything was delicious as well. We enjoyed the class very much and would highly recommend Carmelo.

¡Hola! Soy Carmelo, un siciliano afincado en Roma. Me encantan los sabores del sur y me gusta fusionarlos con los típicos de la cocina romana. Al mismo tiempo, me encanta jugar con las tradiciones regionales (desde la napolitana hasta la piamontesa). Mis platos estrella son, precisamente, los principales de la cocina tradicional italiana (con alguna influencia). Me apasiona todo lo relacionado con la enogastronomía y el diseño de interiores. Me gustaría recibir a los huéspedes en mi casa para que se sientan como si fueran mis amigos de toda la vida en una cena y ofrecerles una experiencia (además de un mimo) totalmente italiana.
