    Un paseo por las calles de Verona para redescubrir las antiguas tiendas.

    Partiendo de la Piazza Bra, caminaremos hasta Castelvecchio, donde visitaremos la histórica pastelería del mismo nombre. Marta y Michele nos recibirán mostrándonos los dulces típicos de la tradición veronesa. Continuaremos luego hacia Corso Cavour para llegar a Porta Borsari. Recorriendo el corso, miraremos hacia arriba en busca de la terraza del Palazzo Melegatti, inventor del Pandoro, con los típicos Pandori in Pietra. El aroma del pan nos llevará a la antigua panadería De Rossi. Después de admirar la Piazza delle Erbe, nos dirigiremos a mi casa, pero no sin antes hacer una parada en la Antica Bottega del Vino. Una vez en casa, prepararemos gnocchi, un plato típico de Verona, para degustar con una copa de vino.

    Hands down one of our favorite experiences in Northern Italy! Michela was a wonderful guide as we walked the streets of Verona, stopping for a sweet treat at a historic pastry shop and learning about Verona as we strolled and talked. We picked up fresh bread for lunch at a historic bakery, then headed back to Michela's house where we enjoyed a snack before we learned how to prepare delicious gnocchi! Our family had a great time as we all sat down for lunch, enjoying the gnocchi with 3 simple sauces. Michela also had prepared a traditional Srbisolona which she served for dessert. Highly recommend this experience. We are working on perfecting our gnocchi in our own kitchen!

    Hello Michela, We want to thank you for such an amazing evening. All of your attention to the smallest detail including Andrew's distaste for nuts, and Jack being vegetarian was a really nice touch. Your home was lovely and warm and your kitchen was supremely equiped! From the bottom of our hearts thank you!     Michela was great!! My husband and I learned a lot about Italian food culture in the few hours we spent with her. She served us local cheeses and soppressa. She made for us bigolo in tomato sauce, eggplant and cheese dish, and a peach tart. Everything was tasty! We helped a bit in making the eggplant dish. She gave me cooking tips I can use at home. And we spent a lot of time talking about our cultures. We highly recommend her and the Cesarine program.

    Michela es veronesa de pura cepa y siempre ha vivido en Verona, ciudad del arte y del amor. Su apartamento se encuentra a pocos pasos de la Piazza Brà, el salón de Verona. Las colinas con sus viñedos, el lago de Garda con sus olivos centenarios y los montes Lessini rodean los monumentos de una ciudad con vistas mágicas. Su pasión por la cocina es una herencia familiar. Su abuela Laura y su madre Bibi involucraban a sus nietos e hijos en la preparación de pasta fresca larga y corta, lasaña, tortellini y tortelli, platos principales de carne con guarniciones y postres. «En la cocina intento transmitir el valor de la sencillez, pero al mismo tiempo siempre estoy dispuesta a experimentar con nuevos platos, utilizando principalmente productos típicos de la zona de Verona».
