¡Hola de parte de Giacomo!

Originario de Cervia, me mudé a Rimini a los 25 años y desde hace más de 15 resido en Santarcangelo di Romagna, a pocos kilómetros de Rimini y del mar. Santarcangelo es un pueblo muy animado del interior, lleno de comercios y restaurantes, con un casco histórico especialmente apreciado por su arquitectura y la belleza de sus paisajes. Decidí dedicarme a tiempo completo a una de mis pasiones de siempre: la cocina tradicional y popular de Romaña.Hoy en día trabajo como sfoglino (estiro la masa con el rodillo) para algunos restaurantes famosos de los alrededores y me dedico a la cocina para mantener vivo un antiguo arte que vi practicar y aprendí, primero de mi abuela paterna y luego de mi madre, es decir, el de hacer pasta fresca casera y utilizar los numerosos y variados ingredientes de la zona para darle el mejor sabor.Me gusta compartir mi pasión y mi búsqueda continua de materias primas locales de excelencia con mis amigos y con todos aquellos que desean aventurarse en esta experiencia llena de sensaciones sorprendentes... Por eso he decidido abrir las puertas de mi casa a los huéspedes de Cesarine, confirmando así que la Romaña es una tierra dedicada a la hospitalidad.

This experience was absolutely unforgettable! It was my very first time in Italy, and taking this cooking class made the trip even more special. The chef welcomed us with incredible warmth and hospitality, teaching us how to prepare authentic pasta step by step. Giacomo not only shared his knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine, but also went above and beyond by preparing a beautiful surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the day truly unique. The whole experience exceeded all expectations — from the hands-on cooking to the stories, the atmosphere, and the genuine kindness we received. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone visiting Italy. Definitely a must-do, and I know it won’t be my last time here!

Yep, this should be a 10 star evening! My husband and I had a wonderful evening learning to make pasta with Giacomo. My husband Terry loves to make pasta, but spending an evening with an expert pasta chef brought so much more knowledge and technique. We made 2 doughs + piadina. Piadina is a totally a new dish for us, but I’m certain it will become a weekly event. We absolutely loved spending the evening learning and talking with Giacomo & Alex, and would take any other cooking class with them if we have the opportunity. This class was definitely the highlight of our trip.

We had a wonderfull evening with Giacomo and Alex. Giacomo is truly a masterchef. We made different kind of pasta's and piadina. Giacomo is not only a very good chef, but also a person with storytelling skills about pasta and Italia in general. After making the pasta by ourself, Giacomo made diner (from our pasta), with homemade ragu and tiramisu as a dessert. It was delicious! We highly reccomend booking this home cookingclass. You wont be dissapointend!
