Dans ma cuisine, j'utilise principalement des ingrédients locaux provenant de ma terre bien-aimée, la Sicile. J'adore cuisiner le poisson, préparer des desserts et travailler la pâte. J'utilise souvent des agrumes et des herbes aromatiques dans mes plats.

Salvos Cooking Class in Cinisi: A Culinary Journey Through Sicily I had the pleasure of attending Gina's (Salvos Aunt) cooking class in Cinisi, and I can say it was a wonderful experience! Gina is a warm and passionate host who not only taught us how to prepare typical Sicilian dishes like Pasta alla Norma and Caponata but also shared a lot about the culture and history of Sicily. The atmosphere in her kitchen was cozy and inviting. Gina welcomed us with open arms and immediately made us feel like friends. Her explanations of the ingredients and preparation steps were very clear and detailed, so by the end, we were proud of our homemade dishes. I was particularly impressed by how Gina emphasized the tradition and authenticity of Sicilian cuisine. She told us that many of the ingredients used, such as eggplants, tomatoes, and capers, come directly from her region and have been used in her family for generations. This gave the dishes a very special touch. In addition to cooking, we also had the opportunity to learn a lot about the land and its people. Gina shared her experiences and anecdotes, giving us insight into life in Sicily. This made the class a holistic experience where we not only enjoyed delicious food but also learned about the culture and traditions. Overall, I can highly recommend Gina's cooking class. Whether you are a fan of Sicily or simply enjoy trying new dishes, you will be welcomed with open arms and have an authentic and unforgettable experience. Enjoyed tour very much . Salvo understands just a little English but he thoughtfully brought a great translator with us . I recommend this tour .

Salvatore gave us an unparalleled window into classic Sicilian dishes, teaching us two types of pasta the caponata entree and stuffed peppers before finishing with a supreme quality canolo. All cooked in the kitchen of his welcoming and warm grandmother. Highly recommended. Be sure to tuen up hungry!

We had a fun tour, not with Salvatore but with his sister and her translator. We enjoyed the markets and food they recommended and we tried many things we couldn’t have found without them. The walking route can be optimized, avoiding to walk back and forward over the same route multiple times.
