„Wir leben in einer Region, die reich an ausgezeichneten Rohstoffen ist, weshalb wir uns beim Einkaufen immer kreativ zeigen können. Seit wir aufgehört haben zu arbeiten, sind wir aufs Land gezogen, in ein Familienhaus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, wo wir einen üppigen Obstgarten haben und gerne Bio-Marmeladen in allen Geschmacksrichtungen zubereiten. Im Winter nutzen wir das Esszimmer, während wir im Sommer Abendessen im großen Garten organisieren.”

Thank you and Giusy for such a wonderful cooking experience at your beautiful home. We can't stop talking about it. We've never had pasta and tiramisu that was so good. We ate dinner at a restaurant last night and it wasn't even close to yours. We sent a rave notice and photos to our travel agent and will post reviews on social media when we return home next week.

This was the highlight of our week in Puglia. Carlo and Giusy were amazing hosts, not only welcoming us into their kitchen but showing us their fabulous home (Carlo’s original family home). The demonstration was informal, you felt like you were having a lesson from an old friend, and we could all join in and had a go at making gnocchi, parmegana and tirimasu. Then we ate the meal in the stunning garden under vines and surrounded by beautiful trees and landscape. Incredible and unforgettable!

Great hospitality, amazing food, breathtaking location. Carlo helped us reaching their wonderful house in the countryside near Lecce. Their place is cozy and with a charming garden to sit for dinner which seems like a fairytale. Giusy taught us how to make her own version of tiramisù and shared great tips to master it. Together they explained and let us try to make homemade tagliatelle with a courgette sauce. It was incredibly fun! Giusy and Carlo told us a bit of their life story and it felt like being at the house of our own grandparents. We would have wished to stay longer to chat, but we will definetly come back and perhaps staying their B&B. If you are in Lecce, come and visit them!

MUST DO EXPERIENCE while in Lecce. Carlo and Giusy were so kind and warm, and so generous welcoming us in to their beautiful home. It is such an amazing experience watching them both cook and learning from them. The food was so delicious, and so lovely eating in their gorgeous courtyard. Would recommend this experience. 10/10! Thank you!
