Emanuele was a warm and thoughtful hostess. She had the freshest local ingredients form her area. We made 2 pastas, (tagliatelle and ravioli) a pork ragu, and tiramisu. The ravioli had herbs from her garden in the ricotta and the wonderful sage and butter sauce. We had local wine as well. It was one of our most memorable evenings of our entire 2 weeks! If we ever went back to Modica, I would do another class like this.

We loved shopping, cooking and sharing a traditional Sicilian meal with Manuela and her husband, Antonio! We learned some new techniques to use at home and Antonio showed us how to make a traditional pasta. We shared stories and had lot of laughs in addition to an amazing meal that we all helped in creating. The local cheese, bread and wines that we ate and drank along our cooking process were delicious. Manuela was gracious, knowledgeable and fun! Thank you for a lovely afternoon!
