Hi from Nadia!

Hi, I'm Nadia, I'm 62 years old, and I live among the hills of Chianti and Casentino. I was born in Veneto, but love brought me to Tuscany, where I've been living for 35 years—now I feel more Tuscan than Venetian. I work in a high-fashion company, but my true passion is cooking.It all started when I was 3 years old with my grandmother Virginia, who would tie an apron around me and teach me how to make fresh pasta. "Dear, learn the craft and keep it with you," she would say in our dialect. To this day, I carry on her traditions, cooking for my family and creating dishes that tell my story.Sunday is my favorite day: while a ragù simmers and a roast slowly cooks, I delight my loved ones with my creations. My son says my roasted potatoes are the best in the world! I love Tuscan cuisine, from ribollita to peposo, paired with fagioli all’uccelletto, fresh vegetables, and homemade pasta. And to finish, my beloved zuppa inglese is always on the table.For me, cooking is love, tradition, and sharing. Every dish is a memory, an emotion, a piece of my heart.
