La pizza de cebolla es uno de los platos típicos del casco antiguo de Bari. Se prepara sobre todo en Carnaval, pero la encontramos en las mesas festivas en cualquier época del año. Mi receta sigue las indicaciones que me dio una señora del casco antiguo. Es ligera y digestiva, y los ingredientes se tratan según las reglas del arte. Te enseñaré a prepararla y la degustaremos en mi antigua casa, cerca del mar y del teatro Margherita. Estaremos en las sugerentes y características callejuelas de la Bari vecchia. Completarán la cena otras dos especialidades que prepararé para ti. ¡Será una cena rústica pero muy sabrosa! ¡Te espero!

- A wonderful morning shopping and Cooking with Valentina. We made orecchiette and tiramisu. She was a great teacher and it was lovely to visit her home in the old town of Bari.
- This was our favorite experience of the cruise. Valentina was the most gracious host and patient instructor. She provided us with a delicious meal around the pasta we made, a warm and welcoming home, and lively conversation. A primo excursion all the way.
- Valentina was an excellent host. She first gave us a short walking tour of her city and a couple local markets. Back at her lovely home, she patiently showed us how to prepare the orecchiette and the tiramisu. A great experience!
