Alessia, la nostra Cesarina Valdostana doc, accoglie i suoi ospiti in un'antica casa che ha ristrutturato, situata in un paesino di montagna, Gignod, che si trova nella valle del Grand San Bernardo, a pochi minuti da Aosta. "Amo la cucina povera, soprattutto quella della tradizione. Sono una persona semplice e vivo la vita scandita dalle stagioni tra il lavoro in vigna e quello in montagna. Vi aspetto per un tuffo nel passato e nella tradizione!"

Great experience with Alessia... Wonderful classic traditional dishes from the north of Italy! She also has so many locally sourced foods and talks a lot about where/how the different products are produced. Taught us to make tiramisu and it is probably the best I have ever had! Loved hearing about the daily life there. Highly recommend this very authentic experience!

We had a lovely and perfect evening at Alessia’s house. She is a great host and passionate about her beautiful region of Val d’Aoste. We instantly felt at home as we were welcomed in the kitchen to prepare some typical dish (favo) and delicious tiramisu. So much more than a cooking class, Alessia is an expert about the local products and has so many stories to share with her guests. We could not recommend the experience enough. Thank you so much Alessia for a moment we won’t forget.

Incredible experience with Alessia and her family. We had incredible food from the region and got to learn about the history and process behind making the food. Alessia invited us into her home and we felt like we were a part of her family by the time we left. Our kids (12,10 and 8 years old) also had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!!

We have had the best time cooking pasta and tiramisu in Alessia's beautiful home! It was authentic, kind, full of joy, and generous. The food was incredible, and it was so interesting to learn about the culture, traditions, do's and don'ts. She has a real passion, and that makes for an amazing experience. Every food was carefully selected and we learned about their origins. We learned a lot! I can't recommend it enough, and I will definitely be back when I have friends visiting Italy. We did pasta and tiramisu, but I definitely will do the favo soup next time!
