Ciao da Giacomo!

Originario di Cervia mi sono trasferito all'età di 25 anni a Rimini e da oltre 15 risiedo a Santarcangelo di Romagna a pochi chilometri da Rimini e dal mare. Santarcangelo è un vivacissimo paese dell’entroterra, pieno di attività commerciali e ristorative, con un borgo storico particolarmente apprezzato per la sua architettura e la sua bellezza paesaggistica. Ho deciso di dedicarmi a tempo pieno ad una mia passione di sempre: la cucina tradizionale e popolare romagnola.Oggi faccio lo sfoglino (tiro la sfoglia al matterell ) per alcuni famosi ristoranti dei dintorni e mi cimento in cucina per alimentare ancora un'antica arte che ho visto praticare e appreso, prima da mia nonna paterna e poi da mia mamma, cioè quella di fare la pasta fresca fatta in casa e di utilizzare i tanti e vari ingredienti del territorio per insaporirla al meglio.Mi piace condividere la mia passione, e la mia continua ricerca di materie prime locali di eccellenza, con gli amici e tutti coloro che desiderano avventurarsi in questa esperienza piena di sorprendenti sensazioni…per questo motivo ho deciso di aprire le porte di casa agli ospiti di Cesarine, a conferma di un territorio vocato all’ospitalità, la Romagna!!

Yep, this should be a 10 star evening! My husband and I had a wonderful evening learning to make pasta with Giacomo. My husband Terry loves to make pasta, but spending an evening with an expert pasta chef brought so much more knowledge and technique. We made 2 doughs + piadina. Piadina is a totally a new dish for us, but I’m certain it will become a weekly event. We absolutely loved spending the evening learning and talking with Giacomo & Alex, and would take any other cooking class with them if we have the opportunity. This class was definitely the highlight of our trip.

Experience worth 10 out 10! It was a wonderfull evening with Giacomo lesson and inspiring stories about Italy, grandmother and mother receipes and secrets☺️ we made amazing piadina and two different doughts for pasta. We had a wonderfull evening with Giacomo and Alex. Giacomo is truly a masterchef. We made different kind of pasta's and piadina. Giacomo is not only a very good chef, but also a person with storytelling skills about pasta and Italia in general. After making the pasta by ourself, Giacomo made diner (from our pasta), with homemade ragu and tiramisu as a dessert. It was delicious! We highly reccomend booking this home cookingclass. You wont be dissapointend!

If it were possible I‘d rate the experience a 10/10. Me and my boyfriend absolutely loved it! We first learned how to make traditional piadina, which we’ve never heard about before but was absolutely delicious. After that, we made two different doughs and learned how to shape different kinds of pasta. Giacomo and Alex were both amazing hosts and we immediately felt at home. After we finished the pasta and ate it (very delicious btw!) it was time for tiramisu, which was without a doubt the best one we’ve ever eaten!!! Before the class was finished we were offered coffee and got to try Giacomo’s homemade Limoncello. It was a perfect evening and we enjoyed every second of it. Thank you!

We really enjoyed the cooking course of Giacomo and the way he told so passionately about pasta. First we made Some piadinas(local dish) which we really enjoyed making and eating. After that we made 2 different doughs and multiple pastas from it. We really liked this experience and then we ate 2 different pasta types and sauces. We really recommend it to everyone!
