Siracusa, dall'affascinate posizione sul mare, ai suoi monumenti archeologici; è la città perfetta dove rilassarsi sotto il sole delle sulle bellissime spiagge, assistere ad una tragedia classica nel millenario teatro greco o ancora perdervi tra le viuzze di Ortigia, il centro storico, seguendo suoni, colori o anche gli odori delle prelibatezze della cucina siciliana... Seguendo gli odori dei sapori dei piatti tipici siciliani, arriverete a casa di Gilda, la nostra Cesarina. Gilda ha una passione innata per la cucina, adora cucinare e ricevere amici e parenti, organizzare pranzi e cene a domicilio. A casa sua si respira aria di casa, un'atmosfera allegra e conviviale, la sua tavola sempre 'fiorita' e colorata!

- By far, our day with Gilda was the best cooking experience, our family has ever had. The trip through the market was incredible. Gilda taught us volumes about what makes Sililian cuisune so unique. She was a lavish and generous host who taught us a great deal about Sicilian cooking well beyond the exquisite dishes she prepared. Gilda has an impressive education and career as a chef. With her kind and generous personality, learning and cooking with her was a pleasure.
- It was a really great experience. Gilda has welcomed us in her house and we felt like at home. She knows a lot about cooking and taught us how to make the perfect pasta. We cooked two different pasta dishes together and prepared a tiramisu. Then we ate together with her family. It was simply a perfect evening.
- Gilda was an exceptional chef and teacher, our Family originated from Syracuse area and many words we heard as kids she helped us with and then made the exact meals we have missed for many years. House and surrounding property was amazing and eating outside with the wine and what we/she made was delicious. Give you your heart and she will give you hers. Absolutely Loved Gilda
- Amazing cooking class, making you feel at home! Gilda is brilliant, generous, very knowledgeable and extremely kind. We had a lot of fun and learnt a lot! Gilda’s recommendations for the rest of our stay were also amazing!
- Gilda is such a wonderful person and a delight to learn from. She is very friendly and makes the experience entertaining and fun. We learned so much from spending time with her and we are excited to try the recipes at home. Highly recommend her if you are in Sicily. This was one of our favorite experiences during our trip!
