I piatti che dall’infanzia colorano la mia tavola estiva! Prepareremo insieme una sicilianissima pasta con i tenerumi, polpette di melanzane, scacce ragusane nel forno a legna, un tortino di alici e un delizioso dolce al limone! Sarà una bellissima e gustosissima esperienza tutta siciliana che porta con sé tutto il sapore e il profumo dell'estate!

- My family and friends all participated in this amazing experience. The 8 of us met with Gilda in the Ortigia market where she showed us the different food vendors and advised us where to shop for the freshest items. Afterwards at her home with the lovely kitchen, we watched as she prepared several dishes, including caponade, pork spadini, pasta with a tomato and sausage sauce, and canolli filling to stuff the shells for dessert. Lunch included all the above, after being presented with an amazing Antipasta Italiana (a meat and cheese board) and a sciacia, a stuffed bread with cheeses and meats. It was an amazing experience to watch Gilda prepare each dish and hear her explain everything as she worked. We thoroughly enjoyed learning the recipes and methods of cooking her delicious meal. It was a memorable experience that we all are still talking about and will remember for a very long time.
- We had the most amazing meal with Gilda and cousin Pina. We learned to make Cavatelli, tiramisu and stuffed bread. We had a delicious meal and so many laughs. If you ever want a true dining experience and a host who will go above and beyond for you - All 6 of us will attest to the wonderful meal we had with our host and chef Gilda!! molte bene and grazie mille!!

- Our group loved learning from Gilda, seeing her beautiful home and meeting her delightful family. She was so kind and informative, and the meal she helped us prepare was one of the group's favorites from our entire two-week stay in Sicily. Delicious! This experience was a highlight of our time in Italy.
- Our best day in Sicily and without a doubt the best meal. We had an incredible time with Gilda and learnt so much. Such an authentic experience and we felt right at home. If you want to learn more about Sicilian cuisine and how to take the recipes home with you this is definitely worth your time! Thanks Gilda for everything!
