The torta al testo, the bread of picnics, is a soft flatbread we used to make when guests arrived and the bread had run out. It’s a true pleasure to watch it rise slowly in the pan! Served with typical salami and cured meats from my land, the torta al testo brings back memories of my childhood. Alongside the cold cuts, you will find local cheeses, such as soft pecorino, paired with surprising jams like chili, lemon, ginger, and honey. Then, around the table, we will prepare delicious ravioli together, which we will dress with fresh tomatoes and basil or with homemade butter. To finish the cooking course, a comforting dessert: cups of chantilly cream with sour cherries, a treat that will pamper our palates with a tender embrace.
