    Pannella was only made on festive days, especially Sundays, and in simpler homes it was reserved for special occasions. Just a few ingredients — eggs, flour and plenty of passion — were enough to bring to life a tradition passed down from generation to generation.

    During this experience, we will knead the dough together just as they did in the old days, rolling it out with a rolling pin until it is thin and delicate. The more the dough became almost transparent, the more it was considered a sign of great skill and mastery.

    An authentic journey into the ancient rituals of traditional cooking, combining hands-on skills, stories and flavours of yesteryear.

    This was a wonderful experience, Stefania was so friendly, and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. We laughed a lot, learned about language, culture, and of course, how to make the dishes we later ate! The whole experience was immersive and we felt like we were amongst friends. It was fantastic and I highly recommend it!

    We had a wonderful night with Stefania and Romina last Saturday night. They both made us feel extremely welcome in Stefania’s home and her food was delicious. We all had fun watching Phillip try his had at kneading pasta dough and the meal was designed around local home grown or made produce. While waiting for our ride to come to take us back to Ascoli Picena Stefania invited us to attend a local festival with her. It was “the icing on the cake”. Being part of a community event was special. Highly recommended 👏👏
