: A lovely experience cooking and consuming a beautiful meal with a gracious host on Ilaria’s terrace. Beautiful meat sauce local style and home made pappardelle. A lovely family desert (a twist on Tiramisu). It was a lovely connection to her family traditions - her Nonna’s recipes and even a vin santo and biscotti using her Nonna’s shot glasses. We are English speakers and the use of translation apps worked quite well. Thank you to Ilaria and her friend Julia. We will return next year when we revisit Toscana.
