    With this experience I offer my guests a typical Tuscan menu, taking up recipes and culinary traditions, the same ones that my grandmother used to prepare in her country house.

    It starts with an appetizer of crostini, characterized by the scent of the garden and paired with a tasting of cheeses and jams from my territory. It continues with a first course of fresh pasta and a traditional dessert, all accompanied by excellent wine.

    A lovely experience cooking and consuming a beautiful meal with a gracious host on Ilaria’s terrace. Beautiful meat sauce local style and home made pappardelle. A lovely family desert (a twist on Tiramisu). It was a lovely connection to her family traditions - her Nonna’s recipes and even a vin santo and biscotti using her Nonna’s shot glasses. We are English speakers and the use of translation apps worked quite well. Thank you to Ilaria and her friend Julia. We will return next year when we revisit Toscana.

    "I live in the wonderful Tuscany, in a small spa town between the sea and the countryside. Since I was a child I have breathed the love for cooking, thanks to my grandmothers who every day prepared traditional dishes for the whole family. Healthy, organic and zero km food and, as far as possible, I use food of my own production such as oil, eggs and vegetables from the garden. For fans, I accompany all my dishes with wines from local wineries. "
