Maremma-style Tortello
In the medieval village of Gavorrano, we will find ourselves in a stone cellar that will allow us to relive ancient sensations. We will knead ancient flours, then use strictly local products to make His Majesty the Maremma tortello, which we will taste at the end of the experience, accompanied by a wonderful glass of red wine selected from among the best wines of the many wineries in the area. The experience will also be completed by a tasting of local cold cuts and cheeses.
We really enjoyed our tortello cooking class with Rita and her husband in their lovely home - the atmosphere was so relaxed, familiar and cozy and we learned a lot about Italian culture and food alongside preparing our chosen dish! Eating our delicious tortelli in the end almost felt like a lunch with family.
It was a meraviglioso experience and we'd come back any time❤️
