Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Traditional mix appetizers
  • Tomato bread soup
  • Local traditional dessert

My name is Barbara, and ever since I was a teenager I have nurtured a passion for cooking, experimenting and reinventing while never forgetting my family’s recipes, passed down from generation to generation. These are dishes not always written down, but ones I learned by watching my grandmother and mother in the kitchen. Today I love sharing this heritage with those who wish to discover authentic Tuscan cuisine: in my class we will prepare delicious appetizers with Tuscan kale, pappa al pomodoro — a dish that symbolizes our peasant tradition — and finish with either a typical Tuscan dessert or, for those who love timeless classics, a creamy tiramisù. For me, cooking means that teaching also involves learning, and it is exactly this exchange that makes every encounter so special.

Since adolescence, I have nurtured a passion for cooking and reinvention. I use family recipes passed down through generations, often not written but learned through observation. I am excited to share my love for cooking with others, teaching and learning together.
